Headache in Pregnancy

Headache before, during, and after pregnancy are common and typically benign, however, pregnancy-related physiologic changes increase the risk for a secondary cause of headache. Detailed history screening for red flag features is essential, especially when a patient experiences a new headache or a shift in their usual headache pattern.
